In this episode, we dive into a deeply reflective and candid exploration of life choices, personal growth, and the complexities of human relationships. As I prepare to celebrate my upcoming birthday, I take a moment to muse on the passage of time, recounting memories from the early days of my life and examining how they shape my current perspective. Revisiting my intellectual journal from my 20s reminds me just how much has changed over the decades, both in terms of personal maturity and the evolving landscape of life experiences.
I share my current journey toward health and wellness, experimenting with meal timing and composition, and I emphasize the importance of maintaining a high quality of life through conscious lifestyle choices. This leads me to invite listeners to join in on a conversation about health, emotional well-being, and the significance of mindful decisions that promote longevity and vitality.
Discussion shifts to the nature of friendships in modern society, where the ease of connectivity has resulted in fleeting relationships. I explore how disagreements, especially in the context of political dynamics and personal values, can fracture long-standing connections. Throughout the episode, I encourage listeners to think critically about the quality of their relationships — particularly those that have drifted apart due to disagreements.
We touch on the world of entertainment, peppering in thoughts on the influence of media, particularly in the science fiction genre. Rejecting the notion of fantastical narratives that intertwine science with mysticism, I assert the need for emotional authenticity and tangible experiences in storytelling. This sets the stage for a broader conversation about the impacts of culture on our perceptions of reality and personal relationships.
The segment also includes a deeper inquiry into language and its evolution — specifically how a decline in vocabulary affects communication skills and critical thinking. I lament the general disinterest in reading and the detrimental effects of superficial engagements and sound bites on our collective intelligence. Using humor and relatable anecdotes, I strive to emphasize the importance of cultivating a rich inner life through literature and meaningful discussions.
In addressing complex personal situations, I engage with listeners' comments on relationship dynamics, offering insights into how one can navigate personal boundaries while maintaining integrity and respect. Motivating those in complex or challenging environments, I advocate for standing firm in one's values and philosophies, rather than succumbing to societal pressures or disheartening trends.
By the conclusion of the episode, I leave my audience with a potent message about self-actualization — to be unapologetically yourself and strive to uplift those around you through authenticity, humor, and passion. As always, my hope is to encourage listeners to reflect on their own paths and inspire them to pursue a life rich with purpose and connection. This episode is a call to arms for personal greatness, leaving behind excuses and societal constraints to wholeheartedly engage with the world and each other.
[0:00] Good evening! Everybody, hope you're doing well. It's Pinch Punch, birthday staff month. It is the 4th of September, 2024. I have less than 20 days to be 57. I am moving somewhat beyond the realm of steak sauces. A little bit beyond the realm of steak sauces and 58. I don't know, what does 58 mean? how long what does 58 mean 57 56 58 it just feels like yesterday when we had a giant birthday party with a gaggle foot a friend gaggle full of friends and family we uh we hit 50 oh actually you know so today i dug up my intellectual journal from my 20s i kept it's like 650 pages 260 000 words it's It's my intellectual journal from my 20s. And I dug it up and I was like, how long ago was that? 27? Oh, no. This is when I say I was 25. Yes, yes. That's almost 33 years ago. Yes, that's right. Almost 33 years ago. Wow. That is not a small amount of time.
[1:22] But so here's what i think okay so let's say i've got another 30 years to go let's say i make it to 87 not bad you know should be okay should be statistically able to make it that far where's that light coming from that beam off thing there anyway so should be able to make it another 30 years so it seems like forever and a day ago that i was 25 now i get that 57 or 58 258 to 88 is not quite the same journey as 25 to 57, but it's still the same amount of time. And I am really, really keen on the idea that quality of life remains high, barring bad luck, as long as you eat well and exercise. Like I'm trying this thing now today. I'm trying this thing for the last couple of days. Don't eat. It's quite a thing. Don't eat. I had a steak salad, steak and salad for dinner, and some figs for dessert. Figures. And I'm just trying this thing. I've been trying it for the last couple of days. I just don't eat till late afternoon. I have a meal, and I try to make that it for the day. Seems to be interesting. I'm just kind of curious, shaking it up a little, keep my body guessing about what the hell is coming next, much like my thoughts as a whole.
[2:39] So, yeah, very, very interesting. All right, let's get your questions comments, issues, challenges, disagreements, you name it. People keep looking for Stef on Twitter, onewebsiteover.com.
[2:54] I miss Stefan. More than you belongs back on this platform. The goat. King Stefan. What do they call it? St. Evan. S-T. St. Evan. It's kind of neat.
[3:10] The general sewage sludge that is hyper-reactive, easily programmed, emotional, volatile NPC Twitter does not particularly draw me as a whole. Hey man isn't this you some quote taken wildly out of context and it's like you know i'm sorry like i've just graduated i've graduated as a whole all right.
[3:39] What if any is the philosophical implication behind doctor who i've never watched doctor who, dr when where why and what not dr what's that old joke uh somebody here has been possessed by an owl who so i never i do remember the daleks being terrifying when i was a kid just that, x dominate x dominate just this and of course it was all a bunch of trash cans and tinfoil but i remember the uh the daleks so this robots i don't know the story i just know that they were kind of of popular back in the day in england when i was a kid and the daleks said x dominate they just went to kill and blow everyone up and you couldn't reason with them and you couldn't think about it, average leftist ish and uh i just never i never got into it i don't like my science fiction mixed with mysticism you know it's like i have this vaguely ambivalent relationship with the reboot of battlestar galactica you know cool acting obviously tough chicks all over the place but it just got kind of woo-woo and mystical and then the end was completely unsatisfying all right let's see here congratulations on your apartment hunting that is excellent excellent excellent.
[4:56] Yeah the the time travel and alternate dimensions and alternate universes i got a little impatient with the uh douglas adams stuff as well although i know it's not very serious science fiction fiction, it's like, can we just have the science without the mysticism? Can we just have the cool gadgets and inventions without the woo-woo mystical gods of our ancestors crap? It's like science fiction writers both want to go forward and then backwards, like this elastic stretch nipple crusher thing, right? They just want to go forward. Oh, wouldn't it be cool if we had fast and light travel and we could beam up? But also, wouldn't it be cool if God and ancient prophecies, and it's like, no, no, that's just two opposite directions that can't work well together at all, and it just seems to be...
[5:45] Really uh rough really really rough i do not like it and of course the time that i've done science fiction is my novel called hello i don't know how to pronounce that but my novel the the future which you can get at freedomain.com books that would be uh where you can check it out where i have science and very cool imaginative science without the woo-woo mystical bullshit that just seems to be endemic to modern writers but we can't just have science man we've got to have science facts reason evidence and total bullshit it's almost irresistible so writers can feel that they're gods because they can make these prophecies that come true because they know how the story's going to go as a whole so for writers they can make the old testament turn into the new testament because they know all the prophecies and oh my god this dream came true and And it's like, yeah, that's because you're a writer. Not because it's facts. Yeah, many popular sci-fis without a mystical element. The Force. Look at the Force. Oh, just absolute, absolute brain trash. Absolute brain trash. It's space magic. Yeah, it's space magic. We can get pregnant with the Force.
[7:04] It's a pretty funny meme. meme and it's like uh the meme is like women saying well men will just fuck anything, and women is like a snickers bar some dildo their fingers a shower head and pete davidson, i don't even know who pete davidson is but he's a funny looking guy who seems to pull a lot of hot chicks and i think that's really funny throwing the snickers bar in was just comic genius that's the kind of comic genius i can only dream of it was great oh very funny stuff.
[7:42] All right magic sci-fi the true brain rot yeah it's just a way of legitimizing a fantasy and mysticism and all of that and it's like science but for people who don't understand science and it's like space magic yeah it's just space magic laser swords and oh we got to rescue you the princess and you know yeah the rogue who turns out to be have a heart of gold like it's all just sort of cliches of the arthurian legends writ on spaceships and don't get me wrong spaceships are kind of cool i mean it would be really really cool if we had spaceships instead of foreign aid but i guess our leaders made the choice and we're left with space magic and uh the infinity of foreign aid. That's just the way that the leaders want it. And so everybody just seems to fall in line. Look at that Bitcoin bouncing a wee bit back up. All right. Let's get into the depth of it. Here we go. Here we go.
[8:46] Let's see if we can. Oh, this is from last one. Hang on a sec here. Do, do. All right. Boom, boom. Let's get to a couple of questions. Be honest. Be honest. Do you know these words? Audacious. Hit me with a Y if you know what the word audacious means.
[9:20] Audacious, Ominous.
[9:28] Ah, sneezing is as close to an orgasm as I can get on camera. Audacious Ominous Tirade Encumber Plagiarize Impale Travesty Travesty, travesty so audacious bold ominous foreboding tirade rant encumber burden plagiarize steal language impale skewer travesty is an outrageous thing it's a travesty and so these are all words and, What, what percentage of adults know the meaning of these words? Just, just out of curiosity. Am I going to review Alien Romulus?
[10:25] Uh, I don't think so. I don't really have much interest in the alien movies anymore. I thought the first and second ones were great. After that, I kind of lost interest. So yeah, you know, these ones, you know, these ones, right? Let's, let's go through a couple more. I find this, I find this stuff really interesting. uh perimeter uh that's the border tangible material compassion empathy edifice is like a statue or building or shrine to something tranquil peaceful and even fortitude is staunchness and maybe a little bit of um uh stoicism and so on uh reluctant i don't want to do it matchless without peer, sanctuary, a place where you are safe, remorse, kind of regret, obstructed or block, terminate, to end, consume, to engulf, domestic, things to do with the home, designate, to assign something, cavern, like a cave, ponder, to wander, commence, to start, regulate, to control, Troll, sentence, well, that's got many meanings, of course. So, if we look at these words as a whole.
[11:41] What percentage of people do you think know what the word impale means? Not impala, in which case we'd have to include lions. Impale. What percentage of people do you think understand the word impale? Yeah, these are not particularly hard, right?
[12:08] What percentage? I mean, when you talk to people, Vlad, Vlad knows it. What's that? It's like, you know, Vlad the Impaler didn't even start impaling people till their 30s. You're never too old to follow your dreams.
[12:27] Oh, no, no, no, no. Oh, the optimism. I am here to slaughter your optimism. Actually, I'm just here with facts. Facts will slaughter your optimism, as they generally do. 14% of people know what the word impale is, adults 16 to 65. And this is from 1972. I mean, it's obviously much worse now. So 5% of people know what the word travesty means. 14% impale. 13% know what plagiarize is. Only 19% of people know what the word encumber means. 17% know what tirade means. means 20 know what ominous and audacious means perimeter 26 tangible 30 compassion 29 edifice i don't know why these aren't in uh in uh percentage ordering but anyway uh edifice what was the 22 know what end of edifices and so on so if you combine these basically Basically, four out of five people I would consider largely idiotic when it comes to language. They just don't know language, and they don't know language because they don't read. They don't take joy in reading. They want very simple stories with predictable elements, and that is life as a whole.
[13:53] I mean, if you do, let me see if I can find this. The vocabulary difficulty has been going down. Half presidential. I used to read this in the past. Oh, not species. Speeches. There we go. There we go. Yeah, most presidential candidates have to speak at a grade 6th to 8th level. Trump speaks at a 4th grade level, although I don't know that that's particularly objective, and so on. But it is pretty rough, man. It is absolutely pretty rough, what is going on. I mean, back in the day, when there was like a 98% literacy rate, Dickens was hugely popular. Of course, Shakespeare was hugely popular back in the 16th century, and Moby Dick, which is a challenging read, was an absolute bestseller. You know, I would like to go back in time just to have an engagement with a world that wasn't fairly functionally retarded when it came to language.
[15:23] Just to go back and sit in a pub and have, you can have pretty scintillating conversations with the average person. You could have a very interesting conversation with some fairly good depth without, just from the average person.
[15:49] And if you've ever had to write manuals for the general population you know you have to write it at like a sixth grade level even though people go to grade 12 and a lot of people go to university and so on.
[16:09] And yeah it has just gotten, worse and worse people can't process complex ideas they can't process abstractions they can't process any language that is not already see you need a lot of language skills you need to know synonyms because language is constantly being hijacked borg and slaughtered on the altar of political correctness and propaganda so words are constantly being slaughtered and harnessed for propaganda purposes, so you need synonyms so you can dodge that particular work, right? It's terrible. And so once you can get people to stop having synonyms, once you can get them to stop using a thesaurus or thinking of better ways to phrase things, then there's a much smaller number of words to capture and control.
[17:11] And you can see this when it comes to this. So there's something called the Flesch-Kincaid readability test, how readable is what's been going on. Until the mid-19th century in America, the rhetoric of presidential speeches was consistently at a college-level complexity, Then began a century of slow or rhetorical decline until rhetoric complexity plateaued in the 1940s at roughly a sixth grade level. And that's really sad. It has nothing to do with the 19th Amendment. How dare you? Sorry, I was just talking to myself. How dare you? you so yeah it just it gets they just get stupider and stupider and stupider, that's really sad, it's really sad.
[18:24] So, the complexity is declining. And people, when you can't speak and you can't read, you can't think. Anyone else put YouTube in such a 1.5 or 2x speed to keep it interesting? Yeah, yeah, I think so. I think so. So, the reason we have synonyms in general is to convey more subtlety in a thought. But again, because words are a battleground. Words are a battlefield, right? So, you know, white supremacist has become an attack word, but you can't talk about the supremacist characteristics or preferences even of ideologies that claim to be openly supremacist. You can't talk about that, right? So, language is a complete battlefield. Language is hijacked in order to disarm opposition. You know, whites are a tiny minority in the world. What is it? The number of white women of childbearing age is like 2% of the world's population. Whites are a tiny minority. Uh in in the world and yet whites are considered to have majority privilege and always have to defer to what are called minorities right it's not a mathematically sustainable thing but so words are constantly being.
[19:36] Captured and reprogrammed like they sort of had a stockholm syndrome situation with uh the the their captors right so language is constantly being colonized i guess you could say and hijacked and twisted. And so the fewer words that people have, the easier it is to win that battle, so to speak, and to prevent people from thinking.
[20:04] So I think that's really, really tragic. Many cannot even read, says Pharaoh. Unsurprised the vocabulary for these who can is not amazing. These are easy, yeah. Stef, should I express how I really feel on college exams are answering the way I believe they want to hear.
[20:25] Well, it's a very interesting question. I would say that when I may have been the last generation where you could convince a college professor, I had some, you know, pretty corrupt Marxist and leftist professors, but you could make an argument with them. So that was a different situation now. Why would you go into a college program where you couldn't tell the truth? That does not seem particularly wise, right? Why would you want to go into a college program where you couldn't tell the truth? Because what that means, of course, is that you're going to graduate in a field where you can't tell the truth and with all these other people that you cannot tell the truth and all these things so i do not think it is wise but i guess you're in there now so given that you're in there now it probably is better to just buckle down get the degree and find some way to move on, yeah i remember being in school and they were told us they were giving us a thesaurus and i thought it was going to be a cool dinosaur bone or something like a trilobite and it was like nope So, but actually it turned out to be, I used to read the thesaurus as a whole.
[21:48] Hi, Molly News says, Alec, been watching you since 2014. Back then, I seemed to yearn for your approval for some reason. Seems crazy now. Well, it's not my approval. You internalize the arguments that I'm making and you're looking for the approval of your own conscience, right? I try to make arguments that are as close to consistent with a good conscience as possible. And so I assume that you wanted a good relationship with your own conscience. Because a man who has a good relationship with his own conscience can never be defeated. A man who has a bad relationship with his own conscience can never win. So, it is sad. So, again, you weren't looking for my approval. You were looking for the approval of your own conscience, whose arguments I strenuously tried to put forward. Somebody says, I went to a community college in Toronto and half my professors couldn't speak proper English as they were from other countries. Yeah. Yeah, it is a strange thing. It's a very sad thing. It's a very sad thing. English is such a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful language. It is really almost unparalleled in the glory and depth of its language, so. All right, so let's get to some other comments. I'm still checking in from time to time.
[23:08] If you have questions, but let's see here. Somebody wrote, my husband is mad because I desire women and I'm not okay with having threesomes with him. I don't feel I should have to share my husband and that my sexual life with women should be for me only. He also had a problem with the fact that I didn't want to give oral. He knew all these things before marrying me. He asked, could we compromise? And I told him, no, and that he should be faithful to me. I feel as if I'm not pretty because why does he want to bring other women into our marriage? He also doesn't respect me because a real man would never want oral from his wife i feel my husband is being selfish i don't know what to do, the caption for this is i need to get into marriage counseling because i want to be laughing all day i mean really the the final chord to any kind of sane rules, has just the chord has been completely cut i mean people are just they're just literally making up whatever shit they want now just anything just making up absolutely anything my husband is mad because i desire women don't want to have threesomes but oral is is not right.
[24:21] This is like watching somebody attempt to draw a perfect circle while being struck by lightning and having an epileptic attack oh gosh and listening to the bass line of enter sandman at 50,000 decibels. Just crazy. Somebody says, you have to act humble, but I bet you are secretly pleased with that. Ooh, that's not a very nice thing to say, is it? You have to do, I mean, honestly, I don't think that you want my approval. I mean, what does it matter? Right? What does it matter?
[24:52] Because I can't give you my approval. So if you have a sense for, quote, my approval, it has to be your own conscience or some standard. But it's interesting that you say you have to act humble, but I bet you are secretly pleased with that. No, I would not want anyone to desire my approval. I would want people to desire the approval of their own conscience. But I don't think that anybody should desire my approval. I don't desire my approval. I desire the approval of my conscience and of good sense. So i'm afraid you have not been listening very well and it's interesting that you would say, you seem to yearn for my approval you have to act humble but i bet you're secretly pleased with that so um you know get lost with your mind reading my friend with all due friendliness and respect this mind reading stuff is creepy um i'm not saying you're creepy as a whole but this mind reading stuff it's like well you're just faking being humble but i bet you're secretly pleased It's like, why don't you just ask a question rather than doing this weird tentacle-up-my-nose, estrogen-based, well, you're not acting this way, but I bet you really are this way.
[26:02] You kind of have a conversation with people who fantasize and make up and truly believe your motives and your intentions and your language. I'm telling you what I think and feel, and you're like, well, you have to just act that way, but I bet you're not really that way. I bet you're secretly pleased with that. No, really not. I think that the idea that somebody would look for my approval rather than the approval of reason, good sense, morality, and their conscience would be gross. That's not philosophical. It is not philosophical to look for the approval of someone. So, no, I'm not faking it. I'm really not. I'm really not. So, yeah, but it's interesting, right? it. The conscience video Stef did around July 4th was probably one of the most powerful in my opinion, at least for me. Thanks, Stef. I appreciate that. Thank you.
[26:54] Uh here's somebody else uh my toxic ex is trying to come back and wants me to let her move in she left me for someone else because i was miserable and then wants to call me up months later talking about how she regrets ever talking to him and wishes she never left me i honestly picked up the phone not knowing who it was and just wanted to hear her cry once i knew because i knew this day would come she cried about how everyone treats her like shit she remembers that i'm the only one that ever cared and all that she asked me if i could let her move in and we could start all over and she'll never do anything like that ever again oh my gosh just absolutely sad and tragic just absolutely tragic amish paradise churned butter once or twice living in an amish paradise yeah he's funny he's a funny guy for sure he's a funny guy uh i love his uh take on Smells Like Teen Spirit where the lyrics are so incomprehensible he actually starts just gargling. It actually makes more sense than the actual lyrics. That's a sinister song, isn't it? Like creep.
[28:06] So, yeah, just people absolutely giving up on any kind of rules. Husbands have to mentally fight every day against their wives' friends owning them. I think that was a really deep statement. You really, really have to keep things spicy and moving in your marriage as a whole. I mean, men and women as a whole.
[28:28] Ah, let's see here.
[28:37] Do you, have you ever dated a woman, if you're a guy, I guess it could have happened the other way too, but have you ever dated a woman who is upset because of the people you follow on Instagram? I think it's a female thing. So somebody says, my Gen Z niece broke up with a guy because she was sick of looking through his Instagram followers and seeing him following women who only thirst post. She just started seeing someone new and this was her hard line with him. It really is akin to your boyfriend slash husband staring at other women, ogling them and having parasocial relationships with them. It's really nefarious and gross. Yeah. Yeah, I do think that's wrong. I think it is disrespectful to follow thirst traps as a whole. It's interesting. Many years ago many many gosh this has got to be 15 years ago i did shows about churchill and world war ii and all of that and now twitter it's all a flame and a blaze with churchill might not have been the good guy that everyone thinks he was it's like i'm so tired of being early oh my god does that ever not work does that ever not work my gosh.
[29:57] Oh my gosh. All right, I'm not going to blackpill you on a marriage thing. No, I won't blackpill on you on a marriage thing. Why is some woman getting divorced? It's too easy to blackpill as a whole.
[30:16] Oh, yeah, a woman in Arizona died in her office cubicle and wasn't discovered for four days. She died in her office cubicle and wasn't discovered for four days. Well, to be fair, it was HR. So there's that. But holy crap, that is something else, right? That is something else. This is interesting, too. How do compliments work in your marriage? Says regularly i tell my wife she looks beautiful or i'm lucky to be her husband these comments go ignored or she rolls her eyes i'm always saying i love you first she'll respond, i got to thinking she never compliments me on my look she really says i love you first i limited the amount i say i love you starting to hurt inside more, you know this is a statement that's kind of in the manosphere it took me a while to get it i I think I get it now. I think I get it now. But she clocked in on a Friday. But still, I used to clean offices in my early teens. There are office cleaners in there.
[31:34] You cannot negotiate genuine desire with women. I mean, with men, too. I mean, just with women. I mean, I was talking about this in the soap opera with a club movie documenting female narcissism called It Ends With Us. I just did the review last night. I actually did a great review, really great review. And I hit the stop recording and the whole application crashed. Just poof, gone. Nothing. Nothing deleted. Nothing. Nothing. So I had to redo it, which was a bit of a drag. But occasionally it happens. You just lose stuff. but.
[32:12] It's the lack of passion in a lot of sort of female romances the passion is always kind of abstract and you know I just I love him for what you know his looks maybe his status or maybe his money but just that, flesh you know rip the clothes off just fleshed off you can't negotiate that if a woman doesn't feel that for you I think you're just in for a very long and difficult relationship. Do you know what I mean? Like if the woman is just not like ogling you and giving you compliments and damn, son, right? Is that a canoe in your codpiece or are you just pleased to see me? If she's not just that way inclined towards you, if she's not just daydreaming about you and just wants to tear your clothes off, man, you're just treading water and killing time, man. And it's a painful, painful, long way down for that kind of stuff. So.
[33:07] Somebody says, five months ago, me and a friend stopped talking over me confronting his dishonesty. I asked him if he wanted to have a serious conversation. He said, nope. I was pretty surprised because we spoke for over a decade and he introduced me to your show. I still sometimes feel like reaching out and seeing if he changed, but feel it would hurt me if I got ghosted in the process. Do you ever reach out to old friends who stopped talking to you due to a rift? I actually was just talking about that. I was talking about how it would be fun. I was talking about this with my wife, how it would be fun and interesting to try and resurrect the D&D game for more 18 years. and I'm curious. I mean, I know that I'm the only person who will ever look old people up on the internet, right? I know. Hit me with a why if you've ever looked up people on the internet to see what they're up to now just out of curiosity. I'm sure I'm the only one who's ever done this. Yeah, security would find the dead woman as well, right? So I, and you have to kind of piece it together because, you know, Now, my friends aren't really public figures, so you kind of have to piece things together with little scraps from here and there about how they're doing and what they're doing. So...
[34:21] And it's ironic that the woman who was, I'm sure, in HR died and then nobody found out because no one could touch her to see if she was alive because HR bans it. Yeah, I want to see where people are at in the life journey. Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. I want to see where people are at for sure.
[34:45] So, yes, I do check in from time to time. But here's a funny thing, you know. Have you ever had this happen? As a whole, and by the way, tips are welcome and appreciated. It's nice to have a bit of an intimate chat tonight, isn't it? Have you ever had it where somebody you think is really close to you, as this guy does, there's like one thing that happens, one hiccup, one problem, one this, one that, one the other, and they're just like gone, baby. They're just gone. Like you were never there. Isn't that wild? I think this happens with younger people. Right? A friend of mine's daughter, a friend moved away, and they were just gone. Nobody ever contacted them again, even though they'd been friends for years. Just gone, baby. People are just, we have no ties at all. We're just blowing in the wind. We're tumbleweeds. We're leaves. Well, at least leaves were attached to a tree at one point. Don't you find this, though? People People can just go, gone, done, like they never were. Friendships of like 20 years, one little disagreement, gone. What happened to your ex who wanted you to cook your own meals, do laundry, and work 80 hours a week? No, that wasn't quite fair. She wanted me to do half and half with her. I don't think much. I don't think much.
[36:14] I don't think much. Certainly, I don't think she achieved. I don't think. I never heard of her achieving her goals. And what's funny, too, is the number of women I used to work with who all ended up working for the government. I think it's close to 100%. It's wild. I mean, it's not that shocking in a way, but, man. It'd be interesting to see the wage gap without government pay for women. It'd be very interesting. It'd be very interesting. So yeah, you have a disagreement with someone, and a lot of times in the modern world, you have a disagreement with someone. They don't fight for anything, they don't come over, they don't try and deal with it. It's just gone, man. You're gone. You have ceased to exist. You've been depersoned. You've gone to the back rooms. You've glitched out, skate freestyle. You're done, man. Gone, like you never were. And you've no hold. The fact that you've had a relationship for 10 or 20 years doesn't mean a damn thing. You're just gone. No hold, no gravity, everyone's weightless. Gone. Wind blows. Ooh, I'm sorry the winds are taking its power apart. And they just forget.
[37:24] Happened a few times with so-called friends with disagreements over COVID. Yeah. Okay, let me ask you this. Hit me with a why. If you've ever had a friendship that fractured and you haven't seen the friend for years and he reaches out to try to make amends. Hit me with a why if you have had a friend, there was some issue, you drifted apart, or you had a conflict, and then years later he reaches out to try and catch up with you again. I've done it a couple of times, for sure. But I don't think it's common. I think people, you can spend 20 years with someone as a friend, and something happens, and, I mean, the something happens is usually the straw, the final straw.
[38:23] That usually there's a fine straw. There's a bunch of stuff that's going wrong that isn't dealt with or is dealt with badly, and then there's just something that finally snaps the camel's back. But I remember the first time I was, the first time I dated a woman, the first time I dated a woman who, there's a great scene in Friends, and I'm ambivalent about the sort of Hail Satan cast of Friends as a whole, but there was a good scene where chandler comes from a very dysfunctional family and he's dating this woman this jewish girl monica and they have a conflict when they're dating and he's like well i guess i guess we're broken up then and she's like what are you talking about we're just having an argument we come back we sit down we work it out he's like oh like it's a weird concept and i remember the first time i was dating a woman we had a conflict and uh um we parted and And it wasn't particularly great, not terrible, but just not particularly great. And then she calls me and she's like, no, we really should try and sort this out. Right. And I'm like, wow, that's a thing. Because normally people just like take the marbles and go home and you just, they just beam out. Right. They're gone. They're just gone.
[39:38] But yeah, it's really chilling. And there's a really powerful scene in the movie Goodfellas where Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro, I mean, I'm not going to worry about, giving you spoilers for a movie that old, but get your sandbox.
[40:01] But Robert De Niro has been pals with the Joe Pesci character for decades, and he's just luring him in to get killed and they're just having a little chat and, right? Doesn't matter. No loyalty. Doesn't matter how long you've been friends. You get zero consideration. Zero consideration. Doesn't matter. How long you've been friends. You get zero consideration. You're just like anybody else. There's no, you know what it's, there's no deposits in the friend bank anymore. There's no deposits in the friend bank. If something doesn't work out, if there's a problem, if there's an issue, You don't sit down and try and sort it out and say, geez, you know, based upon the longevity of the friendship, we really should try and sort this out. And, you know, we've really got to work on this and all that. It's like, nope, disagreement, gone. And, I mean, COVID saw that. Right. COVID really brought that out. Do you care about me or propaganda? Do you care about facts or lies? Rough man. Somebody saves.
[41:15] Absolutely right that it is necessary for one's spouse to desire you. My wife and I will have been married 20 years in October. Not once ever has there been any sexual intimacy. Sure, we're good friends, but there is a miserable gap in my experience as a human being. Oh my gosh.
[41:35] You've had no sex in your marriage for 20 years? I mean, I'm clawing at the door after two days. What are you talking about? You've no sexual intimacy in your marriage for 20 years.
[41:56] You're good friends. I mean, I'd be fascinated to call in at freedomain.com or freedomain.com slash call. I'd love to hear more about this, but that's wild. I'm a good friend. So you're roommates, basically, because marriage is about sex and reproduction. Having sex, giving birth, raising kids, that's what marriage is for, right? I mean, you're roommates. It's not really marriage. Marriage is about sexuality because marriage is there to contain and focus sexuality and create a positive place for the pair-bonded raising of children. Zero. But if you're good friends, wouldn't you care about each other's needs and preferences? It'd be good in a marriage? No. Really? That's wild, so yes a few people have had people from the past reach out somebody says no the only one who reached out needed something I'm sorry about that.
[43:05] Totally agree. I thought the longevity, the fact that I always offered to help him find work, got him his first job, gave him weight loss advice, none of it meant a thing. Yeah, it's just like the light goes out, like it was never there. Never there. My niece was four hours old when I first saw her, held her as a baby, visited her from toddler to teen. Then she becomes an adult, school, college. She's not responded to any attempt to reach out. That sucks. It's really sad, right? It's really sad, I've lost many friends and family over politics morals now, I mean it's funny because it's all like well I have friends from all across the political aisle and I wouldn't let politics divide us it's like well politics is the art of coercion so it does kind of matter I think it does kind of matter, it does kind of matter you will do a call-in yeah please do yeah please do just email me your Skype address at callin c-a-l-l-i-n callin at freedemand.com that's really something that really is wild.
[44:25] That's really wild, alright let's do a couple more things a couple more things uh regretful parents apparently there's a reddit for regretful parents, and somebody says i hate them underventing no advice i guess that's a an option or a choice, there i finally said it out loud oh that's such a cliche there i finally said it you know oh it's such a girly thing to do there i finally said it out loud i hate my children both of them they're two and one and I hate every single second they're awake. I can't sleep peacefully, I can't eat, I can't even take a shit peacefully, I'm tired of this life, I'm the only one with them 24-7, I'm so sick of it. My partner is useless, all he says is they're babies and something is wrong with me, how could I dislike my own children and see them as burdens? But it's just the truth. I haven't had one happy day in two damn years. Specifically my oldest, my daughter, every single thing she does pisses me off. I'm constantly stressed, constantly screaming for her to stop touching things. I'm so tired of this, oh my god, I wish I could turn back time and not have any of them. I wish I could actually not have met their father. Well, that is obviously a little bit of an extreme.
[45:42] Uh and people are just saying like postpartum depression it's like maybe you're just a total satanic bitch just maybe just maybe and doesn't sound like she's married as my partner and so on, and and so i'm not saying she's not suffering i'm sure she had a bad childhood and all of that but you have to deal with that stuff before you become kids like everybody knows that right everybody knows that if you've got if you've had a bad childhood you should deal with that before you have kids right and everybody knows and it's funny you know because women get mad at men who date soon after the end of a relationship it's like well no they need time to process they got to get over it they got to deal with it they get otherwise they're just going to repeat it and then when you say to women oh you had a bad childhood what did you do to deal with that before you became a mother what it's like oh god it's the same thing except much more important because Because the kids aren't there by choice. Oh my gosh. Just sad.
[46:46] Hmm. And I think, this is worth mentioning. I may have mentioned this before. So somebody says, yeah, so putting it all out there. I used to be an escort in my 20s. And a tiny bit into my early 30s. I still can, I'm a little on the side, but I'm essentially financially independent. I own my own home and I'm starting a small online business, non-sex related. I never took dating seriously and never looked for a real relationship until I turned 30, after which I had a sudden, desperate urge to settle down. I've been dating for more than four years now and I'm feeling beyond dejected. I truly believe no man will ever be able to accept my past and see me for who I am. I'm worried, and I'm worried I can't do anything about it. Okay, see me for who I am Well, you're a woman who did sex work You're a woman who did Who was a prostitute The whole pronouns, right? Escort, sex worker No, you're a prostitute You slept with ghastly men for cash I mean, see me for who I am.
[47:51] The only empirical evidence we have For who we are Are the actions we've taken It is so important to understand the only empirical evidence for who we are are the actions we've taken. Nothing else, nothing more, nothing less. Because otherwise we start making up the psychotic projection minefield called intentions. Well, I never intended to, I never this, but what did you do? What did you repeatedly do? What you repeatedly do is who you are. What you repeatedly did is who you are. Well, just a tiny bit into my early thirties I still cam a little on the side.
[48:34] My God, I am not, my empirical actions is the cry of the worst conscience in the known universe. I am not what I have proven to be. I am not what I have done. Oh my gosh, it's crazy. Can you imagine as a man saying I want to get paid for my intentions? I intend to be a movie star. I intended to get that contract finished. I intended to finish this project, I intended to build this house, so I want to be paid for my intentions. It's like, no. If you say to someone you're going to build a fence, you're paid on, oh, I don't know. Can we say actually building the fence, is that just a fence too far, is that a bridge too far? To say that you should get paid for what you actually do? and.
[49:30] Thinking that you are somehow detached from the empiricism of your actions. Now, of course, you and I, we all have this whole internal life. I'm talking about the empirical, verifiable stuff because you can claim any intentions that you want. You know, somebody who's 400 pounds can say that their intention is to be thin. Their goal has always and will always to be slender. I want a BMI of pie. Don't go for a BMI of pie, and you certainly won't get it by eating pie. Oh, homonym joke. It hurts me possibly even more than it hurts you. So you were a prostitute. You will forever have been a prostitute. So the idea it is a bit narcissistic for me for people to think that there's, a them an identity of them for other people that is not empirical.
[50:29] I mean if a guy says he's six foot two and he turns out to be four foot eleven his intention of being tall doesn't matter to women, he is short he is empirically who he is if a man says he makes a hundred thousand dollars a year and he only makes ten thousand dollars a year his factual salary is uh 200 a week.
[51:05] There is no, well, but the inner me is wealthy. The inner me is tall. The inner me has a full head of hair. It's like, no! The inner me is ripped. It's sagging, maybe. But, no. So I just think it's very interesting. No man will ever be able to accept my past and see me for who I am. But who you are can only ever be, to rational people, the empirical evidence of your prior actions. That's it. That's it. So then she goes on to say, but the annoying thing is I can't help but feel really misled by the internet.
[51:51] Oh, ladies. Oh, ladies. Accountability does not have to be your kryptonite. I know lots of really responsible women in the world, but the moment a woman regrets her decisions, she immediately, not all, a lot of women, the moment they have made a bad decision, they just start reaching around for someone to blame. I kind of made a bad decision. It couldn't have been me. It's the internet. It's extremists. It was my professors. No, you made a bad choice. I mean, we all do, right? We all do. dude. Some people are making the choice to not be here tonight. Insane. But yeah, you made a bad choice. You got to own it. I mean, you don't have to own it, but the only way you're going to grow is if you own it. So the reason that men are not accepting her is because she's still lying like crazy. So she says, I feel like every time I posted a question about sex work and dating online, line, at least 80% of the replies are from men saying something like, I don't care what your past is like. Being a sex worker is not a deal breaker to me. Well, that's because they want to have sex with you. Oh, the idea that very attractive women can base their epistemology on other people's feedback, especially thirsty men, is completely deranged.
[53:19] It's like somebody interviewing a whole series of really, really desperate people, desperate to get work. Somebody interviewing them says, oh, they're going to be totally objective about my qualities as a person. Like, oh, you seem great, right? Beautiful people would be insane and are insane often to base their epistemology on the opinions of others who want to burrow into their pants like a sandworm into the Sahara.
[53:46] Sometimes I do the disturbing metaphors, and this would be one, just in case you were keeping count.
[53:53] So the men say, I don't care what your past is like. Being a sex worker is not a deal breaker to me because they want to sleep with you, right? This has not been true for me in real life. I've been on countless dates, and the ones that have gone relatively well all abruptly end at the moment I told them about my sex work in the past. I haven't met a single normal-ish guy who's been okay with my past. There have been tons that just wanted to hook up, but that's not what I'm looking for either. So where are all these internet men in real life? Are people just flat out lying online about this sort of stuff? Or am I just going after the wrong type of men? I'm mostly attracted to professional, clean-cut men around my own age. And no one thus far has shown even the tiniest bit of interest in looking past my history. Am I just a lost cause? And has the internet been feeding me lies? Guys, you deceive men in a way for a living, because you pretended like you wanted to be there when you were just taking their money for sex.
[54:48] Could a professional pathological liar possibly have been lied to by other people? Could a woman who, in a sense, exploited men for sex, gave them the girlfriend experience, escort, right? Gave them the girlfriend experience, pretended to be interested in them in order to get their money from them? Could a woman who manipulated men for sex have been manipulated by men for the possibility of sexual access. Oh, say, it isn't true. So she's looking for a professional clean-cat man. Oh, no.
[55:20] Oh, my God. Well, honey, why wouldn't you just... Why wouldn't you just... Just date a male prostitute? Just date someone who is a male prostitute. Why not? I mean... The past life of being a prostitute is no problem. Why wouldn't you just date a male prostitute or someone who used to be a male prostitute? Oh, you don't want someone who used to be a male prostitute? I don't know. Why do you think it's so hard for people to see the blindingly obvious?
[55:58] Why? Why? Why? Just look at what you're doing. You want someone who was never a prostitute. I mean, come on. Are you kidding? Last thing I'd ever want to date is someone who was a prostitute. Says the prostitute, hey, why don't people want to date me? I used to be a prostitute. I'm sorry, I'm like, oh my God.
[56:25] Oh my God. Oh my God. That's wild. She's 35 years old. Yeah, she's not getting married to a normal guy. See a man who's a professional and who is successful does so because he takes the long view defers gratification and aims for the lengthy price so he's not going to marry a woman who was a prostitute because it's going to come out it's one thing to have been a prostitute you know, 50 75 years ago maybe you could hide it maybe it would never come out maybe you'd never be in a a business meeting with your husband and come across an old john but um that's not it now, i think that's not it now now it's all forever right so you could become a prostitute or a cam girl because of the internet which means you can make a lot of money sitting there at home right, all right all right, but that very convenience that has you able to sit around at home, also has you.
[57:48] There forever and ever. Amen. It's going to just, the footprints in the snow, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever go away. You know, you ever think about this? I'm sure you have. Like when you were a kid, you sit there and think, well, you know, if I'm going to be a house robber, I'd never do it in winter because I'd be footprints in the snow. And I'd never do it after it had just rained and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, right?
[58:17] Christians can be born again, what would be the equivalent for her, or is she condemned forever?
[58:23] So what I would say is not that she's condemned forever, but that the reason, if she were to truly process what happened to her as a child and why she became a prostitute, if she were to truly process that she would have a complete mental collapse and would be very close to suicide so she like when you act in a destructive negative bad manner because you think of the number of marriages she's harmed you think of the number of monogamous relationships that she's harmed you think of the number of falsehoods that she's told uh it's just a massive amount she's been like a flamethrower in the alien eggs of the families in the neighborhood so the amount of harm that she's done can't really be recovered. And when the harm that you've done can't really be recovered, any actual self-honesty is this close to suicidality, I think, as a whole. So how can she tell the truth? How can she tell the truth? See, she has developed a habit of not taking personal responsibility, and now she's 35. And so we say she's been an adult for like 17 years, right? So her being an adult can almost vote, right? So she's just had a habit of...
[59:47] Not telling the truth to herself and not telling the truth to others. STDs she doesn't mention, yeah, could absolutely be the case, right?
[59:58] So, why would a man want that? Men are haunted by the prior lovers of girlfriends and wives to a large degree, right?
[1:00:12] So, move across the country and become a nun. Yeah, maybe. Maybe. but it's just this lack of she doesn't want an ex-prostitute and then she's really shocked that, men don't want you know it's the old thing like the women are like well don't judge me don't judge me by my weight when they judge men by their height i mean it's really boringly obvious low iq hypocrisy like well how can you how can you judge me by my weight which is actually under to your control but then women judge men by their height which is not under their control and their income which is only somewhat under their control because income is so tied to IQ and IQ by late teens is like 80% genetic which doesn't mean there's nothing to work with you can still change quite a bit but I mean if height was or penis size were 20% variable that would be pretty exciting for a lot of men right so men's income you know women are always getting together with men like well he doesn't make much now but i'll help him make more and it's like, no if he's limited by iq that's going to be pretty tough to get that right so i i would not put any uh any um i would not put any money on this woman being able to change change. She would have to confront so many terrible things that were done unto her and that she did unto others. I think it would be functionally impossible.
[1:01:38] Do you remember the call-in show of a young girl abandoned in Japan who used prostitution to survive? What if she did prostitution for survival? No, I do remember the call. It was with a black woman. She was from Jamaica, right? She was a black woman who did prostitution to survive. But that's because she didn't want to go back to Jamaica. She had options. She had choices. IQ has nothing to do with dollars. Yes, it does. It's highly, highly correlated to income. Sorry, it just is. I mean, I wish it were I wish it weren't. I wish it weren't. Because then we could change IQ through philosophy. But we can change wisdom through philosophy. But we cannot do much to change intelligent, right?
[1:02:24] All right. Boom, ba-boom, ba-ba-ba-ba-boom.
[1:02:33] Yeah, you are your choices. Why do you define love as our involuntary response to virtue? Can you please explain it? I just don't get what you mean exactly by that. Well, have you read my free book, Real-Time Relationships? So I write these books so I don't have to keep answering the same questions over and over again. Now, if you have read Real-Time Relationships, maybe I can explain something else. You can tell me what you missed, but that book explains it pretty well.
[1:03:03] I think I'll reach out to my old friend and ask him how he's been and if he'd like to talk. Yeah. I actually, over COVID, I contacted a friend of mine from many years in the past. He had a pretty spiraling down relationship with his wife, and I just don't like being around snappy couples. I just find it difficult and unpleasant, and, you know, it's kind of awkward and rude. And anyway, he ended up getting divorced, and we chatted a little bit, and I don't think I'll ever hear from him again.
[1:03:43] And it's funny, too, because women will talk about men's looks. Now, a man, I don't know if you've seen this meme, it's this guy who's like, oh, exercise and shave your head if you're balding and get some sun and so on. And he did all of that, but he still looked like a giant Martian egg with goggle eyes. Like, there's only so much that a man can do about his looks. I mean, short of like really creepy interventions like plastic surgery, what can you do about your looks? You can't do much about it. You got the skull you got. You got the skin you got. You got the look you got.
[1:04:16] So women get mad when men judge them for things completely within their control, like weight. I didn't say figure, I said weight. But women judge men for things utterly beyond our control all the time, right?
[1:04:29] Thoughts on women now dressing super revealing. I go to a gym now, and it's pretty wild to see how some of these women dress. Even in day-to-day, I don't think a lot of these women who dress like that are great to date. I want a conservatively dressed woman. I don't want tons of people to know how my girlfriend looks in underwear. Wear well so this is masturbation culture right so masturbation culture drives simp culture because our brains process a woman accepting a gift from us as a sexual overture right like if you offer a woman a gift and she accepts the gift that is part of a mating ritual so online when men gift, uh money to women and women say oh thank you and then make i don't know cat noises or whatever the hell they're doing these days then the man's body thinks that he's getting closer to reproducing with some attractive woman and then the masturbation culture means that i assume that his masturbation is more pleasurable because of that supercharge for a lot of women and i was talking about this in my movie review for yesterday for a lot of women the great sexual excitement is being desired it's not actually the sex it's the being desired and then because they can masturbate they then then find that exciting and so on, right? So, yeah, women dress super revealing so that they can draw a lot of male attention. So then when they go home to the aforementioned Pete Davidson snicker bar or whatever, then they can enjoy it more, I suppose.
[1:05:59] Hmm. The dudes on the internet who say they'll have no problem with her sexual history are really unlikely to be her clean-cut professional type of guy. Yeah, for sure. Could you imagine taking your escort girlfriend to the company party? You'd probably never get promoted again. And of course, you know, men look down the road in terms of like, okay, how is this going to play with my colleagues? How is this going to play with my family? How is this going to play with my kids in the future, right? And everyone assumes that reverse image search is going to get more and more sophisticated, right?
[1:06:30] So men are not, they look down the road and be like, okay, so she seems high status because she's very attractive, but my status is going to completely and totally crater, particularly among older men, if they find out I married a prostitute. They will view me as the saddest, most pathetic, unwise, ridiculous simp known to man, and therefore my professional opportunities will just completely crater. I won't get hired. I won't get promoted. I might get fired. It's just like, yeah, we can't. Sorry, we can't. We can't have you around. So, sorry. Sorry.
[1:07:09] And she doesn't have repentance. And she's still minimizing. I just do a little chem work. It was just like a little bit into my 30s and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And she says escort rather than prostitute. So, no, I was sexually abused. She would probably say the honesty thing. I was sexually abused and I played it out my destruction of families because I felt my family destroyed me.
[1:07:33] Okay, you'll read the book. Yeah, thanks.
[1:07:37] It's not one-to-one, but for sure, ADIQ will never be a Fortune 500 CEO.
[1:07:44] Well, you know, honestly, I always appreciate your contributions, Bermuda, so I really do appreciate this, and I don't mean this in any negative way, but this is a habit I would strongly urge you to drop, is stating the blindingly obvious. So when I say that income is highly correlated to IQ, for someone to say well it's not one-to-one is it means that you're surrounded by people who aren't smart and and if you say because when you say things like that you are broadcasting to intelligent people that you spend way too much time around dummies you know it's it's like the thing that says yeah men are generally taller well i know i know a couple where the woman is taller and it's like that that is not that adds nothing to any anyone who's intelligent stating the blindingly obvious does not add anything to the intelligent but it marks you as being around unintelligent people yourself and i know you're not unintelligent so i'm not obviously saying that about you but it's when you say there's a general rule and you say well but there are exceptions it's like yes there are exceptions and everybody over the age of three understands that and if you If you feel the need to point it out, you're signaling that you're trapped in a world of mouth breathers. So try not to do that because it's going to drive smart people away from you, if that makes sense.
[1:09:09] 150 plus IQ rarely will be found folding boxes for a living unless they did something to mess up their lives.
[1:09:18] Yeah. Well, so I remember having this conflict with a white swan guy, Taleb. And I remember having this conflict with him on Twitter where he was saying, but there's way more variability among high IQ people than low IQ people, and it's like, yes, there is. Yes, there is. Now, not every tall person becomes a basketball player, but every basketball player really kind of has to be tall. Right? That's just a general thing. So if you're tall, there's more variability between basketball players and non-basketball players, if you're 6'6", then there's going to be a flatter bell curve for basketball to non-basketball players. Whereas if you're 4'11", there's going to be no basketball players really, right? So there's less variability. And so when you're smarter, you have more choices. And when you're less smart, you have fewer choices and so on, right?
[1:10:22] High IQ gets you the right answer to complex challenges and also gets you there faster than lower IQ. That's why higher IQ gets paid more and they do more and faster as well. Higher IQ sees problems coming and avoids them. So if you've ever been in a fairly high up, sorry to pat myself on the back, but if you've ever been high up in the business world, you know that there are people who make a big deal out of constantly managing chaos and problems. They make a lot of noise and they're constantly thumping themselves on the back they're exasperated i can't believe this is happening and they're just constantly putting out fires and managing dangers and so on and there are other people who kind of serenely sail through the day now a lot of times if you're not as intelligent to manage you'll look at the people constantly putting out fires and saying wow they're really effective at what they do man look at all the problems they had solving that are just disastrous and it's like but the guys who are sailing through smoothly have seen those disasters coming a long way down the road have averted them or dealt with them ahead of time and are just doing better right they're just doing so less drama is better planning and so yeah the people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, i mean it's it's um a project manager very early in my career you know when i ran into needing something tapped his desk pointed at the sign which said a failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
[1:11:45] Very true. Very true. Have you seen the videos on acts of guys who do height-increasing surgery? Yeah, I think that's pathological. I think that's really disturbed. I think that's really disturbed. It's like the women who have boob jobs except the height-increasing surgery is really brutal. And, you know, what's going to happen in 30, 40, 50 years, right? Are tattoos really a red flag if a woman has a few? you. So you like a woman who's got tattoos. Are tattoos really a red flag if a woman has a few?
[1:12:16] So what do you mean by really a red flag? And what do you mean by a few? Come on. So a woman has undergone significant pain to permanently carve an image into her beautiful flesh. That is disturbed. That just is disturbed.
[1:12:41] All right. Intellectual company is sadly lacking in real life apologies. No, no, no, you don't have to apologize for anything. And I appreciate the thought. You don't have to apologize for anything. I'm just reaching out and saying, please, please, if you want to be invited into more refined intellectual circles, then pointing out that a general trend is not an absolute one-to-one ratio. I mean literally you're like looking at a jagged line and saying you know that line is not totally straight right and it's like why didn't you feel the need to say that you know you look at tabletop mountain right and you know that's not exactly the same as a tabletop it's not totally flat on top and there aren't legs I don't see any coasters right and sorry I'm mocking you a little bit but But, you know, a correlation like a scatter graph is not a straight line. And everybody who's got any brains, and I know you're one of these people, right? I absolutely know you're one of these people. Anybody who's got any brains knows that a scatter graph is not a straight line. It could be very close to a straight line, but it's not a straight line. So if you look at IQ and income, there's a scatter graph which goes bottom left to top right. Now, if you say, but that's not a straight line, everybody knows that before they even take their introduction to statistics class, right?
[1:14:09] Errol Morris interviewed the smartest man in the world, IQ 240, and he was a bouncer before he found out his IQ. I really hate these stories. I feel like I'm in a burning, visceral, deep Old Testament rain fire upon the world passion. I hate these stories. You know, there's a really smart guy and he sucks shells at a grocery store. Why do you think you know that story? Why do you think you know that story? Because people want to deny the relationship between iq and success so they'll find some ridiculous outlier and push that why would they push that why would they push that.
[1:15:02] Now i don't know this guy but i imagine he had an absolutely terrible childhood for sure so why you know oh yeah that was this really smart guy and he was like doing nothing man, he was just working at nothing. Right? This is the five easy pieces thing where Jack Nicholson is really smart and talented, and then works as an oil rigger. And there's all this stuff is super smart, but he just doesn't do much with it. And this is, but it's very much an outlier. I mean, it's very, very much an outlier. IQ conscientiousness and assertiveness are the biggest predictors of income IQ is the biggest predator, I think you mean predictor.
[1:15:41] Well, but IQ, conscientiousness, and assertiveness. So you're talking about the big five personality traits, right? Introversion, extroversion, conscientiousness, assertiveness. I can't remember the other one. But IQ is bigger than those because IQ is related to those. So to learn how to be assertive you need to have iq to overcome emotional resistance like the people who act out generally a low iq higher iq people are better at managing their emotions because higher iq people are not just stimulus response npcs right oh i'm upset about something gee i wonder why i should try and figure that out what is the source what's going on right and so So conscientiousness, assertiveness, and so on. If you are an introvert, I was more of an introvert when I was a kid, and I worked hard to become more gregarious and outgoing because I recognized that being an introvert was not going to be great for my life. It's going to be tougher to meet people. It's going to be tough to have any kind of professional success and so on. And so less intelligent people don't recognize the danger of wallowing in their emotions and letting their emotions run their lives. Smarter people are like okay i've got that emotion that's important i should know that know what to do about it to some degree but i don't just have to act it out.
[1:16:58] Less intelligent people when they get angry they just hit yell scream they're just it's input output there's no particular um third eye or observing ego or interception between the stimulus and the action right the stimulus and the response i mean it's like pavlov's dog strolling right.
[1:17:19] I wonder if Pavlov always thought about the dogs when a bell rang. Interesting. Anyway. So.
[1:17:29] IQ is overarching because IQ is what you use to predict the outcome of negative personality traits and work to ameliorate them, right? There was a manager at my old job who constantly not only started fires, but then ran around putting them out and upper management thought he was a genius for putting out the fires. Yeah, for sure. As somebody said, it's like the fireman who starts fires, right? The not all X people drive me crazy. Right. That is absolutely the fastest IQ test in the world, in my opinion. Right? The fastest IQ test in the world. Thank you, Jorian. The fastest IQ test in the world is the not all X people. And again, Bo Amiga, I know that's not you. I'm not putting you in this category. I know you're a super smart dude, so I appreciate that, right? But...
[1:18:24] The not all x people they're doing you a huge favor again not talking about present company but they're doing you a huge favor because they're saying that um they've never been around smart people they don't know how to say smart things they don't know i mean they're around people all the time to whom this is some brilliant insight right so it's sort of like this is the level that i view the not all x people if i say oh man it's raining out and somebody says we're not everywhere.
[1:19:06] Wow it's really sunny but not everywhere not on the dark side of the moon oh yeah well thanks i appreciate that i was completely lost about that, Your bath's full, not completely.
[1:19:27] What are you going to say? There's no room in the fridge. Wait, not even for oxygen? Hello? Oh my gosh. What are you going to say? What are you going to say?
[1:19:50] I just finished exercising. Well, yeah, but not everything. You didn't exercise. temperance, is IQ 2040 sorry IQ 240 is sus in itself how would you measure it be hard to find tech that's smart enough to measure 240, yeah hey a tip I was actually gonna stop about half an hour ago saying I don't work for free but I appreciate that thank you tips welcome freedomain.com slash donate, Regarding the tattoos, I also find it hard to see how one small tattoo is a red flag. I'm not saying I don't believe you. I would just like to see it for myself. Is there something I could do or ask the girl to reveal the potential problem? Hang on here. Hang on here. Are you weaseling me? I think you're weaseling me. I think you're weaseling me. Let me see here.
[1:21:01] Because I thought you said, somebody said oh it's a different person our tattoo is really a red flag if a woman has a few but it's a different person down here who's saying that there's just one okay I'm sorry about that I thought that was the same person.
[1:21:28] So one small tattoo is a red flag? So what if there's a red flag? A red flag doesn't mean don't date. When you look at my family of origin, do you not think I might come with a couple of red flags? I think I might, in fact, come with a couple of red flags. So, well, you just ask her about her childhood and ask what she's done. If she's had a tough childhood, and most people have, right? If you've had a tough childhood, what have you done to deal with it? That's all. Hey, Stef, regarding the tattoos and the disturbed aspect, what about tattoo removal? The goal is to remove them, but it's extremely painful and can take years. So what about it? I guess, I mean, I knew a guy when I was younger who was getting a bunch of tattoos from an unwise youth removed, and it was brutal. Standard IQ test only goes to 160, claims over that are 99.999% BS. Yeah.
[1:22:29] Somebody says, I'm 24, there's this woman at my work who's 28 or 29 and she's beautiful. I've spoken to her a few times and she's super smart, but also super into her work. I'm interested in her, but also unsure if she'd be willing to give up work if we got serious. Sorry, I, uh, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm interested in her, but she also wasn't sure if she'd be willing to give up work if we got serious. All right. Hit me with a why. Hit me with a why. Hit me with a why. If I give you something you will agree with me as one of the ultimate pieces of dating advice you could ever give, ever get, will you give me a tip? I don't even care how much. So just while we're waiting for that, if I give you some of the greatest dating advice and you agree it's some of the greatest dating advice, will you tip? All right, so while we're waiting for that, somebody says you are so wrong IQ has nothing to do with dollars you do have many people who have a higher income but not a high IQ e.g. trades people.
[1:23:53] Sorry you don't think trades people have a high income trades people are generally over the average Nikola Tesla died in poverty, most pro athletes are wealthy and are as dumb as a brick Steffi Taylor Swift is a genius So Steffi lacks IQ because shaming for dollars does not work. So this would be somebody who doesn't understand trends, right? So no, pro athletes are actually not that dumb in general. Because if they were dumb, they wouldn't train as hard as they do because that's a lot of deferral of gratification. How do you explain fat girls and revealing clothing? clothing. I see girls with bigger beer bellies than my uncle had in belly shirts. Yeah, the crop tops with the, are you pregnant, with corn tubelets. It is just a thing, right?
[1:24:47] Most of bosses were morons. You cannot walk that back. All my bosses were moron, including CEOs. Okay. okay, so you're smarter than everyone else in your company. So that's not a mark of high IQ because high IQ has humility, right? When you say IQ is 20% non-genetic before 18, what does that mean? You can do something as a child to increase IQ points. No, they don't know exactly, nobody knows how to increase IQ as a whole. They just say that genetics can be tracked to account for about 80% of your IQ and there's 20% that is X. That mean there's a variety of theories and so on, but they just don't know what the remaining of that 20% comes from, but there's nothing that they can do to replicate it. And I don't deal with IQ. I deal with wisdom, right? I'm here to increase your wisdom, not to increase your IQ because you can't.
[1:25:49] How many tats does Steffi have? I don't have any tattoos. My God, are you kidding me? Why would I have a tattoo? That's crazy. You do have people with a high income who don't have a high IQ, e.g. tradespeople. Now, some tradespeople are very smart and they actually do have high incomes. A lot of tradespeople have high incomes. The trolls, oh yeah, the troll. It's not a troll. He's just, he's just yapping. He's just yapping away. And that's fine. okay all right here we go here we go i am gonna i'm gonna work here i'm gonna work here i'm gonna change your life and blow your mind and if you don't agree with me you don't owe me a penny if you do agree then you'll tip we've got that deal right i'm gonna i'm gonna stick to my end i'm gonna ask you to stick to yours so here's the question i'm 24 and there's this woman at my work who's 28 or 29 and she's beautiful i've spoken to her a few times and she's super smart but also super into her work i'm interested in her but also i'm sure she'd be willing to give up work if we got serious all right all right so your question is.
[1:27:05] If i date her, and we start to get serious and I say I want a stay-at-home mother if that happens, well what if she just won't do it what if she just won't be a stay-at-home mother what if any of this what if it doesn't happen what if it doesn't work what if what if no, no it's not the way to think of dating at all not even close Close, not even close.
[1:27:45] The way to think of dating, is to improve the quality and desirability of your flesh and soul to the point where the woman will follow you to the end of the fucking earth. You become as magnificent a human being as you possibly can become, and that's a virtual infinity above all of us as we are. You become as magnificent a human being as you possibly can to the point where she will walk with you through hell itself just to be by your side. Trust me, I know a little bit about this, as I think you all know.
[1:28:30] My wife is so magnificent, she could say, I've decided to move to the Antarctic and live in an igloo. I'd be like, all right. I mean, I might try and say a few things about it, but if that's what she wants to do, then that's what we're going to do. Because she's so magnificent, wherever she goes, that's where I'll be. And I think she feels the same way about me. And we're kind of right if I do say so myself. So you're like, well, what if she doesn't want to get on my program? What if she doesn't want to follow my plan? what if she just doesn't want to be a stay-at-home mom? No. That is a weak, weak bargaining position. You become so magnificent, she cannot conceive of life with anyone else, and then she'll get on your program. She'll follow you wherever you go, and you can follow her wherever she goes, because you just want to be together. So you'd be so magnificent that she can't stand leaving you to go to work, and you say, hey, you know what? We could make some mini-me's, you could stay home with them and I could be home as much as possible. And that would please me enormously. And you're so magnificent that she wants to please you and you're so magnificent, sorry, and she's so magnificent that you want to please her. And that's how you negotiate. You don't negotiate from a position of crossing your fingers. But get the job. I hope I work out. I hope this is going to be okay. No. You have to be so magnificent.
[1:30:00] That people will pay any price or bear any burden just to be around you. And it's mutual, you understand. So you don't see if a woman wants to have babies. You become so magnificent that she can't stand to not be full of your seed.
[1:30:23] You be a hero so she will give birth to heroes. You be beyond compare, so that she's thrilled to be fertilized by your godlike gametes you want supersonic intergalactic kryptonite tadpole sperm that she wants to drink up, she wants to be like a reverse piñata all your sperm ball candy coming off the ground and into her belly, that she cannot wait to bring forth your combined magnificent seed to the planet as a whole be so great.
[1:31:12] That she can think of nothing else wants to be with no one else and your word becomes gospel to her because you are a god to her as she is a goddess to you, You inspire her into agreeing with you. You don't just cross your fingers. Well, what if she prefers work that's passive and it's lazy and it is a denial of your absolute magnificent potential as a human being? And I say this as someone who started off small myself and have really, really, really worked to increase and improve what I have to offer. Be so great that she.
[1:32:02] Thirsts to give you babies, that she thirsts to be your support system, that she yearns and burns and lives and breathes for your mutual glory and gain. She's hypnotized by your magnificence. I know it's a tall order, but my God.
[1:32:34] What better goal to aim at than to be so great, that people and women, and this woman in particular, will be so taken by who you are and how you are, that the idea of wrangling PowerPoints for the next 40 years under flickering fluorescent lights rights for a half-dead, brain-dead boss compared to bringing forth your combined progeny will be absolutely a ridiculous proposition. Of course, she's going to want to stay home and have and raise your babies because that will be the greatest thing that she can do because you're the greatest guy she can be with. Be charming, be funny, be out there, be exaggerated if you have to. Challenge her excite her confront her inspire her as she inspires you because she's already inspiring you be a leader be a leader do you think that napoleon was raging forward, in russia saying gee well maybe russia's not the best example let's pick one where he won, do you think that caesar was like oh but what if the people don't want to follow me and what if they're not inspired by me it's like be so inspiring they follow you.
[1:34:00] Be so inspiring that she'll beg to quit, to be your wife and raise your children.
[1:34:10] Stop being passive, my God. Stop being passive. Stop crossing your fingers. Stride. Be magnificent. Screw up magnificently if you have to, and you will, as Lord knows I have. Be huge, magnificent, full of success and catastrophe to the point where she's like, there's no better show on this green earth than by your side, striding through heaven and hell. However, that constitutes a manifest in your world.
[1:34:50] Sweep her off her feet. That's what women want. Please. Sweep her off her feet. Be the guy that every other guy looks like an NPC compared to, and we all have that within us. We all have that within us, my friends. Be that guy that she can't take her eyes off. Be that guy that no other guy can compare to. You know, pair bonding is when there's no one else. There's no one else. You can't imagine or create or fashion or forge anyone better. Be so thoroughly yourself and so thoroughly engaged with the world and biting deep on the bone marrow of the planet. For better, for worse, in sickness and in health, but the ups and the downs, the riches and the poverty, just be fully manifested in your own being, in your own capacities. Be not afraid. Be not falling back. Be not veiled. Be not cowering. Be not crossing your fingers like a mouse under a bush hoping the dinosaurs don't tread on your squishy ass. Be out there, grab something by the balls, yourself, hopefully. And be a little chaotic. Be magnificent in your successes and your failures. Drink deep.
[1:36:17] Pee long. Shit wide. And stride tall. To the point where she looks at other men and can't quite put them in the same category as you. I mean, I guess technically they're men, but they're not a man. Take some risks. Expand your horizons. Be willing to fall and fail. You can't create anything in this life worth taking seriously if you're terrified of being laughed at.
[1:36:54] You can't make anyone laugh deeply unless you're willing to offend. And you sure as hell can't change the world without pissing off a lot of people. And you are not going to get any points in the afterlife for hoarding and crushing who you are for the sake of conformity. And what if people don't approve? And what if they don't like it? And what if they make fun of me? And what if they mock me? And what if they deplatform me? And what if they take 85% of my income? So what? Make more. Find another way. Trust yourself. Trust your energy. Trust the universe, trust God, trust your instincts. We as a species got down to 10,000 people alone, 10,000 people around the last ice age, and we fought our way back to 8 billion. You don't think you have that within you that can overcome almost any adversity? Let everyone else be the cowards. Let everyone else cower. Maybe you can be that example that has other people feel more courageous. But you can become irreplaceable to a woman by being so deeply who you are and unafraid of your own potential that she looks at other men as pale shadows left by your stiff-spined resolution.
[1:38:24] Don't wait to see if she likes you. Love the glory of yourself and see if she's wise enough to agree. Love the glory of yourself and see if she's wise enough to agree. Or if she just wants to live a pretty little shapeless, unformed, cowering at the bottom of the bush life. Be big, be large, make mistakes, stand tall, get knocked down, get up again, and laugh. Death is coming either way. Living small ain't going to save you from death, it just makes every day a little bit more like dying.
[1:39:14] Oh, but what if, what if she, what if she chooses work over me? Well, she will. I would. As opposed to, I'm going to be so great, she won't even think twice about quitting.
[1:39:33] My God, don't you want people to inspire you? Well, how about you get off your ass and go out there and inspire some people? Shake off the cobwebs of the everyday drip drip of soul decaying propaganda and your worthless privileged nothing bad guilty, incorrect inappropriate go be inappropriate go be inappropriate, to have your mighty soul your balls lashed by the little petty dental floss whips of the HR brigade. I'm not saying go out and do anything wrong or mean or nasty or anything like that. Not saying any of that. I'm not saying go be rude or offensive for no purpose, but just be honest and be yourself. Live large. Even if the largest thing that you can summon in a claustrophobic workplace is just a look of deep, deep scorn.
[1:40:45] You don't have to say a thing to be as powerful as the sun. But wouldn't you like to have one day where you're not afraid? One day where you're not nervous, one day where you accept, that the depth of life is contained in our capacity to accept the rejection of the small-minded. Oh no, a petty person doesn't like me. Oh no, a conformist finds me uncomfortable. Oh no, a person with no soul doesn't like it when I blaze forth. With any kind of instinctual passion. Oh no. People with no mind. Mind me.
[1:41:49] It's mind of a matter, right? If you have no mind, it doesn't matter. Oh no. The zombies don't like the sounds of me thinking. Oh no. The self-silenced don't like the passion of my opera. Oh no, the eternal crushers don't like that I have escaped their slippery squid fingers.
[1:42:23] What if she doesn't want to give up work? If we got serious? That is so far from leadership and so far from inspiring that it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Right? I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that she wants to have my children, but she might want to work more. I can't really guarantee. I can't guarantee. Be so fiery that her loins light up. Be so feral in your consumption of life that she gets baby rabies from the spittle flying from your nipples. My God. Be exciting. Be a little dangerous. Be a little incorrect. Incorrect. Why would she choose you if you're copy-pasting everyone else's cowardice?
[1:43:37] What's that old meme? It's really not hard to get a man to fall in love with you. Just put on a sundress and say, you don't trust the government. Everything that you love to consume is heightened. Song is heightened speech. Poetry is heightened language. Marvel movies are heightened heroism. Everything you love to consume is heightened, and all of the things that you love to consume that are heightened are there to inspire you, not to make you feel small in comparison, although the Marvel movies do a great job of making you feel small in comparison. All heroism that is not based on willpower strips you of your capacity for the heroic.
[1:44:39] Well, I wasn't born on Krypton. I wasn't bitten by a radioactive spider. I'm not Batman. I can't run really fast or burst into flame at least not more than once, so the superhero movies are all there to strip you of your capacity for heroism by saying the only path to heroism is through magic which you won't ever possess, the Marvel movies, the superhero movies the DC Comics movies are there to make you, absolutely wallow in a bottomless pit of pure fucking slavery Lavery.
[1:45:25] Those movies are to say that heroism is a form of magic that you will never possess. They're not there to inspire you. They're there to enslave you by saying you'll never be magic. And courage is magic. Courage isn't for standing up for what you know to be true and pushing back against the relentless invasive insanity of this mad world. No, no, no. You see, courage is for, throwing giant car robots into massive buildings. Yeah, you'll be doing that, I'm sure, at some point in your life. So this is here to help prepare you for that. It is to get you to observe Serve courage and heroism from the infinite distance of degradation.
[1:46:35] To be a little inspiring, you can start off small. I'm not saying you go and tear your shirt off at the next corporate meeting, although I'm sure that would be memorable.
[1:46:43] You can start off small, but be different from the average. If you want to be chosen, you can't be like everyone else. Everyone else who's, oh, well, but what if, I'm just going to sit there and hope that she decides to do things that I want, and I'm going to cross my fingers, and it's her decision. It's like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. Do you think that's how we survived saber-toothed tigers and woolly mammoths, for God's sake? You want to be loved. Then you have to be yourself. You want to be loved. You have to be different. You want someone to choose you. You can't be like every other fucking gumball in the machine. Same color, same shape, same size. Oh, I didn't want this yellow gumball. I wanted that yellow gumball.
[1:47:52] How the fuck is anyone supposed to choose you if you don't even choose yourself, how the fuck is anyone supposed to value you if you don't value yourself how is anyone going to love you if you don't love yourself and loving yourself is not an act of will, self love outside side of baby oil and a fur glove. Self-love is our involuntary response to our personal virtues. You want to love yourself, you want to respect yourself, be fucking good. Or prepare yourself to be somebody's bullshit consolation prize in the decaying orbit of infinite loneliness that strikes people post-40. Well, there's just the two of us left. I guess we'll make do with each other. Okay. We'll be good friends. It'll be a situation ship that winds you down like inverted smoke from a volcano into the heart of nothing. That is the end of life.
[1:49:15] Pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me. Why? Why should anyone pick you? Why should anyone pick me? I mean, you're here tonight because you're hearing things here that aren't anywhere else. I'm not just, you know, Tim Walz's family has churned on him and Trump said something silly and Biden went back on vacation as he'd done for 35% of his pregnancy. And my gosh, turns out that the commander-in-chief is half-retarded mentally and nothing seems to be changing. Oh, and didn't you know Kamala Harris was very unpopular? She was like the most unpopular politician a couple of weeks ago and now she's the most popular politician. The international order seems to be quite corrupt and based upon sexual blackmail.
[1:50:07] The grinding sameness of the NPCs of both the left and the right are a horde you must escape from. Through radical individualism and a commitment to universal values, that is empirical, not imagined. Well, I've been listening to your podcast. That means about as much to me as saying to a nutrition author, Well, I've been reading your diet book. Well, that's nice. Changed your diet?
[1:50:40] Well no but i've i've been reading your diet books for five years now any diet change well no, then stop reading my diet books because you're discrediting both of us if you're not doing philosophy please please stop watching me stop listening if you're not doing it in the world being honest taking a stand pushing back against craziness if you're not doing it stop watching it, you know if some guy's got a great diet book and you keep telling everyone how you've been reading it for five years and you're 400 pounds you're not doing that guy any favors you're actually an advertisement to the opposite if you're not doing philosophy stop watching take a break from watching take a break from listening like i mean donate before you leave if you like, but take a break from watching take a break from listening because you need to go out and do, you need to go out and do you need to stop doing warm-ups and exercises sizes, and you need to actually start doing it.
[1:51:42] And you're not doing it by crossing your fingers and hoping the hottie in the next cubicle might, just might, choose you and kids over a career. If you can't win against a fucking PowerPoint, you shouldn't win at all. If you can't lure her out of a cubicle, into your bedroom with a crib next door and a ring on her finger, if you can't beat.
[1:52:12] A fluorescent office? With your magnificence? I'll tell her to choose the office. Sure. Jobs suck. Most people don't have jobs. They just, most people don't have careers. They just have jobs. Just bullshit. Clock in, clock out. Goes nowhere. Nothing burgers. You can't win against that. How am I going to possibly convince a woman to leave a boring job under fluorescent lights, squinting at a cubicle for the next 14 years? I can't possibly compete with that. How the fuck is she supposed to choose you if you don't feel you can compete against Microsoft Office? I mean, she could get a new keyboard and a more comfortable chair. Be so good in bed. She can't imagine going back to work. Oh. Oh. Excel in bed. with romance, with love, with passion, with desire. Excel in love that beats Excel on the screen. How can you be so passive? Ow, ow, ow. Oh, God, it's killing me. Oh.
[1:53:38] Oh, my gosh. go lift weights till your arms burn go diet until your ass buckles and goes inward i don't know whatever, Women want to be inspired, loved, give them orgasms so good that every one of their toes turns into a whole bag full of Oxford commas. I don't know. Something. Something. Be so witty that they have trouble breathing from laughter. Be so wise and deep that they realize that their eyes should be gazing upon the deep pools of your radiant wisdom from here until eternity closes their face off.
[1:54:36] Give her your power and a point to her life and you can't lose against PowerPoint. So she dreams about you. She daydreams about you. She fantasizes about you. She undresses you in her mind. mind, body, soul, thoughts, everything. Be that. Be that. And if that can't win you, the woman, the woman is not worth winning. All right. Come on, tell me that's not worth With a buck or two. All right, so everyone, I got a dozen people telling me it's a deal. Come on, man. Somebody says, tradesmen in my 20s make over $100,000. Yeah, that's right, Lee. I mean, the idea that tradespeople don't make bank is crazy. Why is it so weird for a girlfriend to buy a boyfriend dinner when he always pays? I do not understand that. Or office, rather. Is she trying to take charge? So she's trying to buy a boyfriend dinner because she doesn't want to be sexually obligated to him.
[1:56:04] How to know when you're overly dominant difficult to find humility with money balance with women, just be deeply yourself, just be deeply yourself herself.
[1:56:27] We have really inspiring advice. Pure gold, Stef. Passionate opera is a night wish song. Good to know. Being such a wet blanket to Stef, his acting makes working retail seem enticing just to escape his gravity well. Maybe on your last day. Might be your last day. Punisher has no superpowers, but where does he get the money for guns, ammo, bullet, proof vest, in need of constant replacement and medical bills, maybe just peaceful protesting? Well, and why does he never go to jail, right? Stef brought up Marvel, yeah. This speech is giving me goosebumps. We'll tip soon. Thank you, Lee. If she does choose the pound point, she's nuts. Yeah, for sure. Great show. Thanks. Top of the hour, if I had a buck, would tip at 90 coins. Oh, is that like 90 cents? All righty then. All righty then. Well, I don't think y'all kept your word. Thank you for the speech. Appreciate that. I did not type Y, but that rant was so good, I just couldn't imagine doing anything else than tipping. Thank you.
[1:57:51] Thank you. But I don't think, I did not, okay, I don't think that everyone tipped who said they would. And let me just go count here. It's important to have your integrity, right?
